As the C3 Conference 2020 concluded, we can truly say we all had many excellent take-aways from the event. We are amazed that our participation exceeded 3,000 people with almost 30,000 Zoom interactions, 200 sessions with 80 moderators. All of you were terrific participants and we appreciate your patience with the tech glitches and learning loopholes of our first virtual effort. We are all learning together and frankly we are grateful for the participation levels and the many terrific interactions. Indeed, necessity took us all a very long way!
DAY ONE: Archbishop Gomez, David Bezzant and Sr. AnnCarla Castello opened the Conference and set the tone for the day one. In the breakout sessions, people from across the Archdiocese and beyond were able to get together and exchange ideas and experiences throughout the day, we learned how important those exchanges can be. C3 also learned how to deal with first-time glitches and loopholes that can occur during any virtual conference.
DAY TWO: Bishop Alex Aclan, Dr. Tony Galla and Dr. Lauren Casella opened, introduced and set the tone for day two. In addition, our presenters far exceeded our expectations and presented excellent material in virtual environments that seemed to become true communities by the end of each presentation.
Over the two days, Conference participants listened, shared and learned. We look forward to seeing all of you in other events and working with you to leverage all of the positive experiences from the Conference in your ministries and endeavors in the Archdiocese. Thanks to you and all the staff and others who made this a success.
